Donald Cox

Donald grew up in South Arkansas. He spent a few years in Camden, Magnolia and El Dorado, then back to Camden until relocating to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas. He quickly discovered the beauty of Northwest Arkansas and never returned to South Arkansas.

Donald met his wife, Christi, while working at McDonalds, in 1991. They married in 1995 and now have 4 amazing children: Brad Gray, Cory, Caleb and Chloe Cox.

Growing up Donald always has a way with numbers so accounting was a natural major while attending U of A. Right out of college he purchased a small practice in Prairie Grove, AR and operated it until 1991. Later, he went to work at Downing and Associates in Springdale until 2003 when he and Christi purchased what is currently Cox Accounting Services LLC on Huntsville Rd in Fayetteville and added another practice in Springdale the following year. Over the years he has had several colleagues retire and entrust their clients to Cox Accounting Services LLC for continued care.

Donald prides himself in the fact that he tries to put himself in his client’s shoes. He questions things and tries to think like the client would. Too many preparers only look for numbers and not the story behind them.
